Dani Scott Podium XTM

The first event of the 2014/2015 aerial World Cup circuit took place in the stunning setting of Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium on Saturday night. Australian Olympian and XTM athlete Dani Scott showed that she will be a force to be reckoned with this season with a very strong performance to claim the silver medal.

The 24 year old, following on from her dominant performances in Ruka, looked comfortable throughout the competition. Standing tall above the roof of the impressive stadium she qualified in first position and was looking confident for the win. In the finals she sat in pole position all the way to the final jump when Chinese athlete Mengtao Xu just pinned Dani back into second. This was a great performance from our girl, the second WC podium of her career and we are so proud to have her on our team. The second podium of many we predict.

Overall it was a very strong performance from the Aussie team with XTM athletes Renee Mc Elduff and Laura Peel both reaching the finals and finishing in 8th and 9th respectively.
